Patriot Adds Tanker to its Fleet of Managed Vessels

The SLNC PAX, the first US Flag vessel classed by ClassNK, has joined the PCS fleet.

Patriot Contract Services, LLC recently added the tanker SLNC Pax to its fleet of managed vessels.  The SLNC Pax pulled into Guam where it was reflagged from Malta flag to US flag.

During the reflag, the vessel was changed its classification society to ClassNK, and in doing so became the very first vessel under the US Flag to be classed with ClassNK.  The Patriot Team, which included assistance from its sister company Patriot Maritime Compliance, managed the vessel through the change of crew, sale, Class surveys, USCG initial COI, SIRE vetting, MSC inspection and a final inspection by the Defense Logistics Agency before getting her on hire for its customer.  The crew of the SLNC Pax led by Captain Gary Ford, did an outstanding job in ensuring a successful and smooth reflag operation.
